Fractal Knots No. 3
This print is based on a fractal tiling. The fractal knots design was created by decorating each tile with a knot motif, and then removing the outlines of the tiles. This particular knot motif is based on a traditional Celtic design. "Fractal Knots No. 3" is a limited edition of 50 digital prints created in 2006. The image size is 12" x 12".
This fractal tiling was the starting point for the design, with each tile decorated using the knot graphic shown at right:
